American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP)
Established in 1987, AFSP empowers a nationwide community through research, education, and advocacy to combat suicide. They fund scientific research, educate the public, advocate for mental health policies, and support survivors of suicide loss.
National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
This lifeline provides free, confidential support to individuals in crisis. You can call 988 or chat online at 988lifeline.org.
NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness)
NAMI offers resources, education, and support for individuals and families affected by mental health conditions. You can text “NAMI” to 741-741 to connect with a trained crisis counselor via the Crisis Text Line.
